Machine For Composing Music is generative music software / computer aided composition software for creating Midi and avantMidi compositions and runs on Mac OSX. Based on a musical model that consists of hierarchle structures based on motif material and transformations of these motifs in order to build-up phrases, voices and the final composition.

APOLOGIZE TO THE OTHER READERS OF THIS FORUM BUT TO A"FIORENTINO" I HAVE TO ANSWER IN " FIORENTINO"

Lo conosco "M" e ho provato ad usarlo diverse volte, nel caso di MCM ho avuto la possibilitá di suggerire alcune "cose" al programmatore durante la fase di test beta. Non é un programma finito al 100% ma credo abbia grandi possibilitá di sviluppo. Ho lavorato con altri programmi per musica algoritmica come Athena CL e ACTools , molto piú completi ma d'altra parte entrambi sono estremante complicati rispetto a MCM . Una funzione interessante é quella di poter creare controlli CC in un Midifile e se non sbaglio "M" non lo puó fare.

Il prossimo mese vengo a firenze per le ferie estive… sempre casino con la tranvia?
