That would be small swedish trolls? Shocked

One of the few things that can actually make a noise is the transformer. It is quite normal and it could at times be described as a rumbling. Hey, can you record this sound? Very Happy

Most Clavia gear seems to do this (my G2 engines and both my NM Classics), I think it to be due to the steel case, the trnsformer being mounted on a PCB and the two interacting magnetically.

Basically a transformer is vibrating and there is a fluctuating magnetic field around it. It is quite normal to hear both mechanically transferred noise and at times also electromagnetically induced nose.

The usual description should go more like a humming rather than a rumbling. Bad transformers may at times actually make a rattling noise. I guess you shouldn´t worry. Transformers are supposed to make some noise. THis is quite normal.

actually they shouldnt...its rather a sign that the inbuild transformers are too tight dimensioned... If magnetic flux is the reason a round coil transformator would do the job..but they are much more expensiv than the standard modell used by clavia.

If a very sensetiv person really suffers from that noise it would be possible to get rid of it...
But in reality..this noise is much lower than the noise my computer makes...
