Hi,

I own the NM Wizoo book. Is there any other book for modular synthesis you could advise? It should be technical and not for beginners. Also it should be for creating sounds and not a historical summary. It should be forr practical use.

Thanks in advance!

Why not try
http://nm-archives.electro-music.com/010_NordModular/015_Workshops/
and
http://nm-archives.electro-music.com/010_NordModular/014_Interesting_Threads/

It's a bit a mess as it is scrambled by the net, but start to read.
Also Jim's Clark modular book is there.

The Tutorial is great. Indeed I already bookmarked it before and tried out some patches, but did not went through it cause I got little time at the moment. But I will in the future. Your second link is quite more Impressive (as I think the tutorial page is perfect for learning by doing, congrats & many thanks!).

The reason why I'm asking for a book is reading on holidays (where my NM must stay at home Rolling Eyes ).

There are several classic books, but most are out of print.
"Electronic Music: Systems, Techniques, and Controls", by Allen Strange.
ISBN 0-697-38800-x

Another classic is by "The Complete Guide To Synthesizers", by Devarahi.
ISBN 0-13-160630-1
It's been out of print for a long time, but you may be able to find it in a library or with an out of print finding service.

WOW. I know I had downloaded those threads and workshops but I never actually got around to reading the Threads. What an awesome resource!!!
It was really interesting to read the ones form the first several NM events.

I really do miss the collaborative days of the old 404 list.
