Do I correctly understand that an expression pedal does not control the volume when playing electric piano.( Electro 2)
Is it one way or another possible to use a volume pedal with electric piano?

Yes, that's well understood Smile

There is a work around, using the Nord Modular G2 (Midi modules) or the computer, in which case I recommand Blue Hell's (Jan Punter) MidiMod.

Both systems use a modular interface, in which the Midi Input (CC 11) will be directed to Midi Output (CC 7)

In the same way one can make the Organ Draw bars sensitive to Velocity, so hitting the keys harder will result in another timbre...

Thanks ,Wout, it was just me being lazy and not wanting to remove my fingers from the key-board whilst in/decreasing the volume.
When recording I can easily control the volume , if needed afterwards.
But it was just when playing live without a computer that I raised the question.

Well, the only electric piano, as I recall it well, that is, which has a volume pedal was the Hohner Pianet... And that one isn't in the Electro Smile
Volume was always controlled by hitting the keys harder, so velocity, now-a-days...

Of course using the G2X was my solution for a better volume control on stage. Just a little corner in each Performance can do the trick. Just two Midi cables between the two.
