Subject description: Resetting after switching on problem
Reply with quote  Mark this post and the followings unread

My Nord Electro 2 has recently developed a problem of reseting every time I switch on, I was wondering if this is because I am using a step up transformer from 110V-240V. I did download the latest OS version but the problem is still there. Has anyone come across this problem before or more importantly know how to fix it?

welcome Kooperman

BTW a real Dutch name. Maybe your family once migrated from Holland to Australia?

Anyway, why do you use a step-up transformer?
There is a switch inside, see http://electro-music.com/forum/post-227357.html#227357
and the rest of this thread.

Maybe the troubles are over?

Wout

The reason why I use a transformer is I bought the Nord from the U.S. and the voltage in Australia is 230v, I didnt realise there was a voltage change switch which I will try.
BTW no Dutch connection here, just a fan of Tommy Cooper & Superman.

Yep, you're Dutch! Only a Dutchman could be known being a fan of already gone comedians Very Happy

I'll be away for some time and no computers (!), so I shan't read the result soon...
