Chat status problem

We had a bit of a crisis today - at least I did.

The chat room has been working fine since I installed it. Today, however, the chat server's status stript stopped responding. The chat status code that shows up at the bottom to the Forum Index page calls this server via http and waits for a response. Normally, it feeds back the people who are logged on the chat room's channel. If there is no response from the chat server for whatever reason, our page is essentally off the air. This took me a bit of time to figure out. I have disabled the chat status freature with a quick edit, and I sent a message to the developer. Hopefully we can figure a way around this problem. In the meantime I'm going to leave the chat status disabled though this little hack.

The chat room itself is still fully functional. Cool

Uhh... ok... but I did not quite understand the Status thingie..
