Server problems of late

As many of you have noticed, we've been having some serious server problems lately. These have shown up as slow responsiveness and down-time. Also, there have been times when the Nord Modular mailing list stopped working..

I've been working with our service provider. I think they found a problem that may be at the root cause of all this and they've implemented corrective action - we were running out of memory. Crying or Very sad

Well, it's been about 7 hours and looking at the logs, things seem to be much better. For me, response has been faster too. Let's hope if this sad period in the life of our site is over. I hope I just didn't jinx anything... Evil or Very Mad

Unfortunately, the ISP is going to change the base IP for our server in the next few weeks. They can't yet give me an exact date. Web service shouldn't be shut off when this happens, but it's always a possibility while the DNS records change throughout the internet. I'll post a heads-up message about this as soon as I know when it's supposed to happen.
