I'm looking for information on a studio desk that I saw in a magazine about 8 years ago or so. For the life of me I can't remember the name Rolling Eyes - but I believe it began with a "P". It was an extremely unusual design - basically 4 or more wood 2"x 6" boards that went from the ground up at about 60 or 70 degree angle. 19" racks were built into these and your console would be on a shelf that was about halfway up. I think it was also made of redwood. If I remember it was of a Scandanavian design (no - not Ikea Smile )

Anyone remember seeing anything like this?

I have no idea.. but then a lot of stuff like this is made for export only. The P thing does not help me out.

Reminds me of the "silent p in swimmingpool"

Cool

Thanks for the links seraph - I have already explored those. I'll probably wake in the middle of the night with the name. I only saw it once in the back of an audio magazine (I don't recall which one..but I think it had a studio furniture roundup in it) - a small black and white picture with a short description of it. I don't believe these were being exported - if they were I don't believe they were coming to the US - I'm sure that if they were we would have seen more about it as it was rather unique looking.
Man this is frustrating! Should have started taking Ginko years ago!

Honestly I am not sure if it's design would work for me or not but I just wanted to look at it and maybe adapt it. The Argosy consoles are real nice but out of my budget.

BTW - the AKA stuff is real sharp looking! I bet shipping it would cost a bit!

Carlo's ability to find unexpected associations on these topics is a wonderful thing.

This plant is loved by many cultures. It has a rich history, a grand association with the arts, and it's an herb that is said to enhance memory and intelligence. Certainly, the Bush administration will make this illegal too.

"Certainly, the Bush administration will make this illegal too."

or Clinton will figure out how to smoke all of it.... Shocked
And then congress will figure out a way to tax it... Mad
The drug companies will "purify" it and it will be the next wonder drug that they will charge outrageous amounts of money for.... Evil or Very Mad
and your health insurance won't cover it..... Twisted Evil

Thanks Electro MasterMind Exclamation
You know Howard, I think creativity is not only associated to the art field.

Being a creative person means that creativity pops up on the most unexpected ways like, for example, finding new ways to floss your teeth Shocked
