I've been running the beta with Leopard/Mac Pro and haven't had any issues with patch corruption, mutator... or anything really. Hopefully Clavia is still commited to finishing the editor update for those that are having issues.

How can they call it a finished product when there are still bugs in it?

Hey all,

I rarely post anymore but I still read the forums.

Just wanted to say this attitude from Clavia is why I was more than happy to hand the Nord Modular Mailing List over to Howard many years ago.

Despite my owning a NM and now a G2, after Clavia did this to us last time as a Mac OS X user and NM G1 owner, I no longer wanted to spend my free time, energy, and resources supporting them or their products. They left the G1 in limbo with a buggy OS X editor so we all had to buy Virtual PC and a copy of Windows to run a virtualized PC version (the money could have gone to them instead as a paid upgrade, but they didn't consider that), and now it appears they are doing the opposite to G2 users. It's just extremely bad customer support relations and like an earlier poster said, "deja vu."

I love my G2 and I wish them all the best, but I am disappointed to see this happening again. At the very least they should have the consideration to open source the editor while maintaining private libraries, so future OSes can still support the synth without exposing intellectual property. I know these decisions are hard and there are business development reasons we can't understand, but overall this comes off as a general disrespect for their users.

Best,
Justin Maxwell
