I want to switch my extern Midi-Soundmodul from Program 7 to 9 with Panel A, Panel B swichting,
But it does not work.

My Equipement:
--------------
- Clavia NordStage 76 (4.02 OS)
- Waldorf Micro Q

My configuration: ( Program 3:2, Panel A light on, Panel B light off)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
- NS: Panel A: Extern send CH 3, Prog 7
- NS: Panel B: Extern send CH 3, Prog 9

Result:
-------
- If I set to 3:2 then Micro Q load Prog 9 (but it should load Prog 7)
- If I swicht to Panel B, nothing happens.

Background info
--------------------
The same behaviour is also with another Soundmodul (Yamaha Motif).
A Experiment: if I connect two soundmodul to NS with a different configuration (NS Panel A: ext. CH 3, Panel B: ext CH 4). Programm send correctly to both Soundmodul, but that is not what I want. I want switch only 1 Soundmodul from Prog 7 to 9.

Any Ideas??

before making any midi cable connections....
set ext a to program change and set value to 0 or 1(lowest)

set waldorf program to 0 or 1 (lowest)

connect 1 midi cable from stage out to waldorf in

turn ext value on stage and watch the waldorf and the programs should change

if they change take notes on:when the waldorf displays 7 (progam)what does the stage display say?

repeat above procces for waldorf program 9

if this does not solve it let me know

Subject description: Firmware (4.12) supports program change within Multi-Modus

Hi there

I have already updated my NS 76 with Firmware 4.12. Now, You can do program changes within the Yamaha Motif Rack XS's Multi-Modus.

Do this (NS)
1 go to Extern menu and switch from global to program.
2. configure: MSB=63, LSB=68, Program 0..127
3. configure Panel A e.g. Midi-Channel 2, Panel B e.g. Midi-Channel 3. Panel A/B Midi channel must be different.
4. you have to do this for all panel and programs

Do that (Motif)
1 Switch to Multi-Mode
2 Create some sounds ( e.g. one or two with midi-channel receive 2 and some other with midi 3
3 That's all

Congratulations to the clavia's software team!
A dream comes true.

My next wish is:
Saving Transpose for each program differently, not global!

see ya
