hi, I just wanted to update here again, since it's been awhile. I recently contacted the manufacturer to check on the status of the order and I have been given a delivery date for Nov 24th. I faxed in the order early last month and was expecting delivery sooner than this, but it apparently took them awhile to enter the order. I guess it wasn't a high priority. Anyways, at least there is a clear light at the end of this tunnel.
I'm going to be away visiting my parents for thanksgiving, and coming home Dec 3rd. I will mail out everyone's order immediately when I get back to NY. Thanks again to everyone involved for your continued patience.
One other thing-- I have around 90 surplus pieces of the small blue un-skirted Buchla 200 knob that I have no plans to use. You can see them in photos below on my 291. The only issue with them is that there is no black indicator line on them-- but I've been able to stencil it onto the ones I've used. I'd like to sell them in increments of 30; if anyone is interested please PM.

UPDATE: 12/10/09
Great News, it's been a long time coming, but I finally received the knob order from Rogan this week. The knobs are perfect, they look very cool. I would have had them by the end of Nov, but I was on holiday for Thanksgiving and didn't want to chance the delivery arriving while I was away. Thanks again for your continued patience to everyone who ordered a set.
I will be packaging up individual orders and sending them out this week and next. I will be going through my pay-pal invoices to re-check names and addresses-- please PM me if any of you're address has changed.
Lastly, Rogan over-manufactured my order, so I believe there will be some surplus. After I get all of the initial orders together and accounted for, I can probably offer a few more sets to anyone interested. |

Here's the big box'o'knobs from Rogan. There will be some surplus, if anyone is interested.
Above the Rogan box pic is a picture of my ongoing Buchla reproduction-- you can see the large knobs on my 258 repro in the lower left hand corner.

Any news about the delivery date? |
 |
|
Hello,
I would like to know if there is any precise delivery date?
Also, the holiday come and some may won't be at home.
I hope that if it occurs it won't go back..
Ok as well for an ordering for small size.
If I succed to manage all the device already wiating or in construction...

Greetings all group buyers,
I sent out the orders today-- I'll refrain from apologizing again for my delays. Thanks for everyone being exceptionally cool and patient with this group buy. Everyone should receive their knobs in 5 to 9 days (or less). The knobs look super cool, and I hope everyone enjoys them and can incorporate them into their projects and restorations. I'd love to see some pictures.
Happy New Year! |

Hello,
I just wanted to thank Ericco for the knobs. They are really great.
As I never seen a Buchla in live, I can't say if they are the same...
They look really great. Here they are.
I wish an happy new year to all of you.
It would be great if we could do another group order for the two other knob size...

If anyone would like to get rid of 2-5 of these knobs, I'd love to buy them from you. Surely not everyone needed all ten. _________________ Chris Muir

There's one person in the UK who I still owe knobs to. I was just double checking my pay-pal records and discovered this. I will send them Monday.
Also, i ran out of upload here, and can't post anymore pictures, but, if anyone was interested, I put some more of my Buchla 200 cabinet/clone pics up at muffwiggler 2009 diy
There will be an order for small knobs and a notification here eventually. I'd like to take a break for a month or so however. The small ones will be much cheaper than these last big ones, but the minimum order will probably be closer to 20-40, depending on interest. But, I imagine, most people who want them will want more of the small ones anyway. |
