Hi there,

I wondered if anyone had any advice as to where to go to get a Nord Lead repaired in the UK. Specifically, I have two broken keys (snapped in transit). If anyone has any general advice or can recommend anyone specific in the UK, please don't hesitate to respond here or by private message.

Cheers!

Broken keys shouldn't be that hard to replace, you should be able to get spare parts from Sound Technology, the UK distributor

http://www.soundtech.co.uk/

or call 01462 480000 and ask for the spares dept

Thanks! Do you know anyone who could do the actual repair job?

By the way:

I know you!

I live in Nottingham!

I have seen you play live!

well, it's a small world isn't it Smile

I have a friend who does electronic repairs, he could probably do it if you really don't feel up to it

It isn't a very hard job Smile

First try to get the spare keys!
Be sure you get the right notes. In the octave all white keys differ...
Also ask for springs.

You need a Philips screw driver and a pair of tweezers to remove the spring.
