Hello,

For the longest time I have wanted to have 3D/spatial positioning for audio streams in ChucK. Does anyone know of

1) a published algorithm for these kind of transforms, so I can try to implement something similar directly in ChucK

2) an open source LADSPA/jack/etc. plugin, so I can try to write a ugen for it, or

3) any other type of API that I might be able to interface with via ChucK? I just happened across OpenAL recently. Maybe that or some other 3D game API might work?

You might want to check out this site for starters, not a ChucK site so much, but lots of spatial-related VSTs:
