Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone here might have some advice on a problem I'm having with my Roland Juno-6.

Here's the problem: There are some notes on the keyboard that are double triggering, meaning when I press down on the key, the note triggers, then as I release the key it triggers the note a 2nd time.

I tried cleaning all the contacts with the contact cleaner - the kind of spray you use for cleaning old pots and sliders, but that didn't solve the problem. I'm sure it's a mechanical problem and not a chip / circuit problem - since I think if it was the circuit, the double triggering would occur on every note all the time. It's kind of sporadic - if i hit the key several times in rapid succession, it kind of gets rid of the problem for a while, but then it'll come back next time I hit the key.

Has anyone experienced this with their old Roland synths, and if so, do you have any suggestions on what the problem might be? And is this something I can solve on my own, or should I bite the bullet and take it to a synth tech?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and best regards,
Eric
