arduino USB project board

Has anyone worked with the arduino 'mini hardware project module plus software'? It seems interesting

Well, I never worked with this particular device, but I did some projects with Atmel ARM microcontrollers before (ARM7 to be precise), and to be honest I didn't like it at all. Same things, and pretty much more powerfull could be done with any PLD - buy yourself for example Altera UP-1 education board. I remember spending some quality time with it, and as for me, VHDL is much more simple than programming same things in ASM or C.

PS. I don't know if these boards are still available, but I guess Altera might have released some newer models.
