The HARD ATTACK aluminum cone speakers in the ULTRABASS BA Series provide super-fast response and high definition, revealing fantastic transparency and punchy mids. The CLASSIC TONE paper cone loudspeakers in the ULTRABASS BB Series deliver high impact and characteristic warmth associated with the paper cone design. All ULTRABASS cabinets feature a reinforced-chamber, front-ported design and outstanding loudspeaker(s), plus a switchable 1" custom-made horn tweeter for high-end punch on demand, remotely switchable via footswitch or the BEHRINGER MIDI FOOT CONTROLLER FCB1010. Input and link outputs on 1/4" and professional standard connectors completely compatible to NEUTRIK and SPEAKON series are provided. Sturdy, non-protruding oversize carrying handles are flush with the cabinet surface, and together with the integrated high-quality casters they assure easy transportation in all situations. Massive reinforced metal corners are found on every ULTRABASS cabinet, guaranteeing years of trouble-free roading."
The ULTRABASS cabinets will ship in the third quarter 2004, with prices ranging from USD 239.99 MSRP to USD 789.99 MSRP

That refrigerator image you posted just scares me. I used to play at a club in a nearby city that was on the 2nd floor... hauling PA gear and amps up a flight of stairs... yikes.
I love my Ampeg cabinets... a pair of them - easier to haul around.
Best bass amp I ever owned was an SWR - but it wouldn't cut through the band so had to trade that off for the more powerful Ampeg stack. Honestly, wish I still had the SWR. What a warm full tone. |
