Welcome to the forum.
Its best if you give as much information about what exactly you are trying to do.

Audacity is a very limited free application not capable of recording midi. However once your X-Station is properly setup and installed you should be able to record using the usb audio alone in most any software that could support it. The X-Station has software drivers that are available which should be installed. Once that is done you would need to select the proper input within Audacity's preferences/settings etc. This would allow you to record the audio from the X-Station.
Again this is a very limited software option but it's great that its for free.
There are a variety of very inexpensive "light" software options which I would also recommend from most all good audio software companies like Steinberg and even Cakewalk.

Also its best to post your post in the body of the message instead of the subject to be clear please. It makes things a little easier I think.
Thank You Surprised

Just download them directly using this link
http://www.novationmusic.com/product.asp?id=1&view=downloads&Type=1&bArchive=False

They will probably be more up to date than what you have on your disc.
Also most likely on your disc is demo or light software better than Audacity... ... ... ... .... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
