A discussion in the developer's corner sparked my interest in a mouse to MIDI converter. Does it exist? How about support for several mice simultaneously, controlling different CC values? Since support for several mice (I know there are weird low budget alternatives free to download) at least on PCs is poor, how about a hardware box with, say, 8 ps/2 or USB inputs for mice and a MIDI output?

There is a somewhat old program called Joy2Midi that does what you want for a joystick. I've seen similar stuff for mice, but can't remember names at the moment. - ardo
