Hi,
This is my first post. Please comment on the mix and the song. This song is intended to break musicial boundaries. So if something sounds strange...

It was The Beatles who triggered me to listen to this song
There are a lot of instruments, so the mix is a little bit to crowded to my ears. The Beatles means to me also melodic lines; in this song only the chorus is melodic and not particular a 'sing along song'. In my ears there are three separated songs, which have tempo and key in common.
But...
What is happening in the backing, all those little phrases and harmonic bound melodies, all right!
In fact, you'll need a George Martin to make the song shine

That's why I put Radiohead ahead of the Beatles. It's probably more
Radiohead but many people on other forums kept on comparing it to the Beatles. Go figure...

Well, let's call it Open Sky then
Surely it's British or at least European.

I actually have 2 "band names," I use "Open" for the alternative
rock stuff and "Open Sky" for the real melodic pop stuff. Both
music are so different that I felt I was misleading people by calling
them the same name. |
