Probably a very noobish question but I struggeled a while now and there is probably a very easy solution to mye question. Have recently moved over from only working with logic to making beats in Reason, but I can't figure out how to make a effect like distortion only appear on one of the drums. When i choose a plug in effect like distortion or delay it appear on all the drums but I only want it on one of the drums.

Any easy sollutions to mye problem?
Thanks Very Happy

2 ways:

1 - Every one of the 10 drum channels in the REDRUM has an individual output. Press TAB and route the individual out from the drum channel you want put the effect on straight into the SCREAM distortion unit and then from the output of the distortion straight up into the MIXER 14:2. (INSERT)

2 - Connect an effect to the MIXER 14:2 make sure it's in the 1st or 2nd Aux slot. The 1st Redrum you create is automatically connected to the mixers AUX 1 & 2 slots. The little S1 and S2 knobs at the top of every drum channel on the REDRUM send that channel to AUX 1 or AUX 2 respectively. If you have more than 1 REDRUM you will have to do the routing yourself... otherwise it's automagic (SEND)

Probably the first way is the best for distortion. You could try using distortion as a SEND effect but usually thats for more unusual effects.
