Subject description: Trying to get this midi-to-cv to work in 4 voice single channel polyphonic mode

I just bought this midi-to-cv and am confused about how to apply it to my in-the-works 4 voice polyphonic modular rig. What I want is to hook my midi keyboard to it and for it and when I play a four note chord on the keyboard it should output each note's cv through it's four sets of cv outputs. This is not what it does, if I put it in single channel mode and push two keys, it outputs the last key i kit through it's first cv set output. In four channel mode it outputs the last note hit on each four channels out the corresponding outputs.

I really haven't explained the problem that well and it's not that complicated but i can't figure out how to make it work. I believe the frostwave was not designed for this purpose and what i need is some sort of midi device that takes the keyboard signal and splits the notes into 4 separate channels. Does something like this exist?

thanks

I know of one application (Mac-only) that does it because I use it all the time: LMSO.
I use this feature to retune midi instruments but besides that you could play your midi keyboard send the output to the computer, set LMSO to output data on 4 midi channels and send data to your midi-to-cv box. I don't know of any hardware solution.

thanks for the link. I dont have a mac (yet) but that's the only option i've seen mentioned so far. Really strange the QUAD doesn't support polyphony in its 1 channel mode.
