Where does this wire go? Subject description: Looking for some wiring help Sequential Switch |

Hi. New here to this forum, and to module construction as well. I am writing for some wiring help and advice for the Ken Stone CGS28 Sequential Switch. I can solder well and do the 'paint by numbers' part, but I am ready to start wiring and I can tell I have options, but it isn't extremely clear how to proceed from here. I need some dummy directions basically. A few things weren't obvious to me.
Here is what I am attempting to end up with: I plan on using mostly audio signals, not necessarily only cv's for this unit. I also plan on using this unit like a sequencer. I am currently using the Blacet PS500 for power supply with a 4-pin connector, which I use with my Ken Stone Matrix Mixer (can I just say bad-ass). Space is of no concern to me as big knobs and 1/4" jacks are preferred.
So here are some of my (admittedly probably dumb) questions to start:
What size pots should I be using for the input attenuators, and the Mix attenuator?
For the gate outputs there are 2 points to solder, it doesn't seems to make a difference which one I use, so what is that extra intended for?
What, if anything, is getting wired to the -0.6V solder points?
Thanks for any and all of your help in this! I am certainly enjoying the site and forum and figured this would be a great place to start. I'll soon be posting a few questions for the Pulse Divider/ Boolean Logic PCB as well, since it is ready for wiring too. |

1) 100k Lin for the pots.
2) >For the gate outputs there are 2 points to solder, it doesn't seems to make a difference which one I use, so what is that extra intended for?
It's just a spare if you need it for some reason or another.
3) >What, if anything, is getting wired to the -0.6V solder points?
Nothing else gets wired to them. They are identified on the board in case you need to check them with a meter. It saves a lot of hunting around.

I would strongly recommend wiring these to the reset input through a rotary switch to act as a number of steps selector if you aren't already. _________________ " I went through quite a few trannies til I found one I liked" - Wild Zebra |
