Looking for a microModular
Unit found gives me few concerns
Can any mM be updated all the way thru to 3.03 ( I have the update, just wondering if there are h/w restrictions)
Is the psu easy to resource via 3rd party alternative (uk)
i.e does it have a 'common or garden' 9V plug (tip +ve ?)

plus (ain't no show stopper btw) - there are differences between me using 1 slot in my NM1key and using mM - polyphony, is that all (besides pot count!) ??

many thanks

Yes, you'll need "micro update 3.03" instead of "modular update 3.03", but all you'll need is on the clavia site, and probably on your own computer as well (it's one download I think for all systemsl - that is ... I do have the MM uploader but didn't ask for it).

Not problems really, you can use any NM patch on the MM, but the polyphony will be reduced to 1 for a 100% patch, 2 for a a 50% patch etc. where the big one could have 4 (8) or 8 (16) etc. (between parenthesis for expanded).

Re. the power supply, I do not have details but I know people have used other ones.

I didn't win bid - went too high for condition.
However, the psu is moderately specified and has a common style connector - so a multi voltage multi plug psu swap may work
I've sourced 'replacement' psus from the most unlikely sources
old modem = perfect for motu ultralite
some other old gear = perfect for novation remote
both of which spare my macbook providing the juice
the (long) quest goes on

* Anyone selling a uk micro modular ! ? *

will exchange for magic beans ;->

anyone know a cure for synth collecting ? ;-/
