Well I must admit I thought it would sound much like the Desktop evolver but without the digital oscillators, but listening to the two videos here http://matrixsynth.blogspot.com/ it sounds different to me.

The Evolver is very nice so I would think Mopho would be too.

I don't think one could compare a micromodular and a mopho, as they are quite different synths and don't step on each other's toes. Actually, they probably complement each other pretty well.
