No drums in Nord Wave Subject description: where to get any? |
 |
|
Hi guys!
I just bought a Nord Wave synthesizer, it's sounds are amazing etc...
But there are no drums on it!
There is even "drums" program section and it is the only one empty!
Please guys who also bought this one, what did you do about that unfairness? |

I know of the empty drums section and I was in the process of recording the percussion sounds of the Nord Lead, however...
I don't own a Nord Wave and I don't want to publish just some *.wav files on the net: I think it has to be *.nwi (Nord Wave Instrument files) or maybe a complete instrument to the Nord Wave, but I can't create those things without the synth itself... (In principal I think to make music with the NL percussion you have to use the NL or another Nord machine at the least)
So if one or two Wave owners would like to help I can deliver the *.wav files (I have 4 of them lying on the shelf) and send these in a PM, then the Wavers can create the special Wave data and publish here.
It's an idea...
(I'm not begging to do something with my time

Yes, I noticed but I'm still on old computers, which don't except the tool. I install but when opening it plops away... | Quote: | Also, if you don't want to spend time on this, I'd gladly make those *.nwi files by myself if I'd just have those *.wav's... | So, it isn't the effort, because I have to make those *.wav files, which takes much more time then a *.nwi file. Anyway, I'll send the first four banks with a small description to you and I hope you will create those *.wni files. You understand my restrictions towards those who want to use it without a Nord synth owned by themselves?
BTW Mosco, is that El Mosco - Mexico or Moscow - Russia or somewhere else? I always look at Google Maps where somebody is sited, just in case I will have a flat tire...

Yes sure I understand that I shouldn't distribute those wavs just for everyone
I also think that if Clavia states that NW is sort of NL's successor, NL's drums should be available for any NW user! And publishing nwi files is exactly the thing(with exception that there will be some monster who'll decode it to wavs ).
Mosco is Moscow, just misspelled it
