i am changing my noodles/loop patches to be synced with external midi clock. in most cases it requires replacing ClkGen with MIDIGlobal/ClkDiv combo (with divider set to 6). it was working fine for all patches, but i have one patch (which i like a lot) that is not working properly. the patch is named SorrYrene.

i'm suspecting one CtrlSeq in particular (and problems with reset/sync). this is the only sequencer which gets its clk not from Master Clock but from out of the other sequencer. with ClkGen it is doing all 16 steps but with my MIDIGlobal/ClkDiv it is doing only few steps than starts from the begining. and i have no idea why... i will appreciate any help a lot.

maybe my sync after replacing works differently or my setup is wrong? it goes from MIDIGlobal/sync into ClkDiv/rst then to rst of sequencers (which previously were connected into ClkGen/sync).

Could you post the patch here?

When you go to the menu synth/synth settings you'll see a setting "global sync (beats)", does it help when you change that setting?

If not, could you also post your converted patch?

my global sync is set to 4. and this is the modified patch. i found that it helps a little bit if i remove sync cable from MIDIGlobal1 completly (but still is a different patch than original).

Hmm, I don't see it, and I can't check as I have no Classic hooked up currently ... maybe run the sync from the active output of the midiglobal module ...

I noticed that you have global synch set to 4 beats and you have the divider in ClkDiv set to 6. Could that be the source of the problem. Maybe try setting them both to the same value?
