If I send midi data to the midi in port is there some way to interactively transpose this using the internal keyboard?

I'll rephrase this question like this:

Is there any way to distinguish incoming midi-note data on the active slot channel from keyboard action on the internal keyboard?

This is kind of a solution to my problem.
It has some limitations though...

Anyway, the idea with this Polyphonic Transpose is this.

Feed the NM1 with midi from a midi sequencer.
Use the NM1 to transpose the notes.

IMPORTANT!
- Intended for NM1 Key
- Oct Shift must be set to -2 on NM1.
- Middle C = No Transpose.
- No midi-in below C#3 will be played (they'll transpose), to play low notes transpose inside the patch with "NOTE OFFSET".
