I'll have to post my lunetta-wasp like VCF.

Super simple with no OTA's needed. I replaced the OTAs with my vcovr's and had some interesting results. I posted a clip on my youtube but haven't messed with it since then. You can check it here.

Just checked the video, nice!

Please do post the schematic, I'm really looking for a non +-V VCF to fit into my lunetta Smile

Still trying to figure out how to complete the module. I've come up with a standard wasp vcf, dual vcf out of one chip, then a few different LP type vcfs outta the 4069.

I guess I'll just post all of them as they're finished. ;d

Oh I almost forgot. One of these if you're planning on using bipolar supply

I'll see if I can work it into single supply

K kids. I decided early this evening, to join y'all in Lunetta world. Smile In other words, my 8th noise machine (The Modular Deathlehem Machine #Cool was conceived tonight. Woo hoo!

I went through my entire CMOS stock to evaluate what I have and I was quite surprised at what I've amassed over the last 23 years of collecting CMOS chips. Smile

1 question for all - for my Marc Bareille MIDI to CV converter, I bought the rest of the DAC stock of the recommended part, from my local supplier. I've got 12 x DAC0831s. I wonder if there could be a use for 1 or 2 of these in my coming machine. Thoughts, anyone? I'll have to check it's datasheet to see, but thought I'd ask. Smile

Hoping to start breadboarding tomorrow. Very Happy

I guess you can use the DACs. If you feed square waves into the inputs and do whatever needs to be done to the other pins to make it work you'll get some sort of analogue voltage out of it.

If the inputs are in some way related to each other, like if they were different outputs of a divider you'd probably get some more complex waveforms, if you just fed it random or unrelated signals you'd either get noise or interesting patterns. That's what happens using a resistor ladder as a DAC anyway.

You actually have a point that I realized after I read your reply. The point of the Lunetta world is simplicityness; rawness. I do wish to be able to play 'notes' / etc. as well, but if I wish to play 'melodies', I can go back to my modular.
I'll skip using the DAC0831 and go with a simple R2R network instead. After a few more seconds thought on that last night, I'm not even going to bother matching the resistors for it. I'm just going to go with 5 percents. Very Happy After all - it will be a noise machine. If it doesn't provide me with standard tuning - who cares? It's going to be built to produce some wonderful aural hell. Twisted Evil
