My G1 Keyboard died the other day, and it looks very much as though the transformer in the PSU is shot. I was hoping someone might have the service manual, or technical information for the NM1, as I was hoping to be able to order a replacement transformer and put it in myself, rather than sending the Nord off to a service centre for a job I'm happy to do myself.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.

A service manual is not available, however, you can try to replace the transformer maybe yourself, but the way is order the item via the distributor who delivers Clavia parts in your country (see Clavia support and the distributors list), but they always will ask for the broken item. In this case it will be the complete power unit in the synth...

The rule is: one broken item + payment (or warranty) results in a working item...

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised...
When I needed to replace a pot on my TM-1, I emailed Eric Barbour, and he got back right away with a 'here's the Mouser ID# for the pot I use, and you may as well get a few, cause all of them are that' - small companies eh?
