I built the Pulse Delay module, which works quite well, but had problems with double-triggering on input signals that went slightly negative (falling-edge triggering). Here's a fix to the input that allows proper triggering off of any signal - changes are in red. I just soldered the resistor and diode at the jack rather than adding them to the PCB. Of course this needs to be done at both inputs.

The control ranges for both the delay and pulse width are ideal (for me anyway). At zero setting, the delay seems to be zero, and the max delay is pretty long.

I had been planning on building a module almost identical to this for many years, based on a Forrest Mimms or Don Lancaster (don't rightly recall) circuit app for theCD4538. Thanks Yvonne for saving me the trouble Very Happy

Thanks for the tip. I have never had this problem which seems to depend on the format of the input signal. I might add this mod on my web page Wink

By the way Jeff, my firt name is Yves because I am a boy. Should I be operated just as Wendy Carlos has been, then you would call me Yvonne, but this is none of my plans Very Happy Very Happy

After building the module I experienced the same problem with some input signals.
Doing this mod seems to have solved the problem.
Thank you both!

This confirms that under certain conditions the input circuit is not behaving.
I am incorporating the input mod on my web page (schemo and PCB design ) ASAP.

Thanks to both of you.
