EME 2009 @ Mallorca (Yes!)

Hi!

I hope this is a correct place for the announcement. Please let me know if there is a better forum and I will edit accordingly.

Despite of a number of people proposing November as the month for celebrating the European Modular Event in November, I think that there is also a possibility to have it by the end of August because of the excellent weather and cheaper (and more frequent) flights.

The proposal is as follows:

1 week (six nights) from 12:00 Monday 24th of August till 12:00 Sunday 31th. Extra nights available if booked in advance.
Regime: ALL INCLUSIVE. That includes 3 buffet meals, snacks, ice cream and FREE drinks, ALSO unlimited beer and national alcoholic drinks (other brands available at regular prices).
Room for the group about 50 sq meters.
Two swimming pools, sports instalations, sauna, gym, free minibus to the beach, etc...

Prices:

367 Euros per person in Studio (min 2/max 2 people)
432 Euros per person in Appartment (min 2/max 3 people)
547 Euros per person in Single Room
82 Euros Children 2-6 years with two adults
171 Euros children 7-12 years with two adults

5% additional discount if min. 15 people confirm their reservation before 24th June

EVENTS CALENDAR:

* Today Andreas from Schneidersbuero (the modular experts @ Berlin) proposed to visit the Event to demo some of his finest stuff and even some tutorials on analog modulars.

* I will set up my quadraphonic analog modular and a surround system for the duration of the week, as well as some of my other equipment.

* There will be a set of loudspeakers, projector and screen at the meeting room.

Shame about the Euro exchange rate though.

Flights are not too cheap from the UK, but a week in the sun sounds good
