Hello!

I'm thinking about getting myself Micro modular, to use it mostly for processing sound. Is it possible to program it to act like Jomox M-resonator or Eventide pitch factor for example? First one is kind of feedback chain with envelope follower, second is harmonizer i think. It doesn't need to be that complicated, some feedback, resonating filters and harmonizing would be enough, and some compression and limiting of feedback of course)))

Basically trying to get few boxes in one box, and cheap, because don't have money to buy them all.

And what about sound? Everybody saying that it has very recognizable character, will it be noticeable in processor mode? Don't want to sound like music that was made in early 2000 too much if u know what i mean.

Thank you very much!

I used to have one and used it for processing bass. It can do lots of fun stuff, but a major thing you need to know is that it does not do any pitch shifting. Absolutely not possible. So, it can't do anything like an Eventide. The M-Resonator's probably doable, though I don't know the architecture of that box.

You will be able to get more out of it than with any other single box, but it can't do everything you want.

Well, ok. You can do "sort of pitch-shifting", but the aliasing glitches make it impossible to make something like an Eventide, the whole fun of which is that it doesn't sound bad.
