Hey everyone.

A few months ago, I was plugging in my Xbase 09 when I saw a spark by the main in. After this, the main in stopped working. All I can hear through it is noise and very faint drums. I didn't bother doing anything about it because using the individual outs, the drums sounded a lot better. But a few days ago, the same thing has happened with the bass drum out. I didn't see a spark, but it sounds the same as the main out when I plug it in. I opened up the Xbase to see if I could find the problem, but I have no idea where to start. All the components are SMD which doesn't help either.

I have been using the original German adapter which I'm guessing may have caused these problems. I bought it off a guy who was using it this way to begin with, so I didn't think it'd be a problem.

Anyways, if anyone's experienced anything similar with theirs or has any tips on what I can do about this (that doesn't involve me going to a repair shop) I'd really appreciate the help.

Thanks.
