Does anyone know about what the power supply specs are for the 2600? I believe the schematic shoed +/- vdc - but no indication of the current requirements.

I have a 2600 (black/orange face) that I am in the process of restoring however before I put too much into it I need to fire it up and see what is working and what isn't. Currently the p/s is not. When I got it the transformer had been damaged and I was able to source a replacement for it (it works fine). However the p/s is still not operating. I have most of the components with the exception of the pass transistors...which I see are a bit pricey. So, I figure if I hook the 2600 up to an external supply I can see what's going on without risking blowing out the 2600's p/s. Of course I need to get hold of a bench top supply and I want to make sure it has the capacity to power the 2600. Nice thing about most of those are they have current limiting built in....so if there is a major problem with the 2600 it shouldn't kill the p/s.
