Subject description: After install of Expansion Board, NM won´t boot up

Hi all,

First I would like to give my thanks to the community for being. A lot of information and help from friendly people around.
After some weeks already enjoying reading here, I hoped my first post would be about a nicer subject Sad .
I hope s.o. has an idea or could help me in any way.

I installed an expansion board in my NM (OS 3.03) and after switching it on, it won´t boot up. It only shows those black blocks in the display.
Pulling it out, the NM boots up as usual.

Is there anything to do after or before putting in the expansion board or should it simply boot up showing "exp" after putting it in?

Are there any workarounds for those blocks showing in the display to get the machine to full boot?

Should I use a lower OS-version before install?

Hopefully it is not a broken expansion board.

Thanks,

Ralf

Thanks, well, the cables are ok. It's probably the board then, as it also shows a mark with a film on it on one side, which look like s.o. had put glue or clear paint on it.

The NM should simply boot after installing the board, no? Would it show exp or something like that during boot up?

A working NM expansion board to sell anyone? Wink

Yes, that's how it should go (and it should show exp) ... sorry to hear it doesn't for you.

And welcome aboard!
