Borderphonics is a platform set in network by artists, activists and
collectives for identities contemporary politics and practices, and on
border zones, migrations, social filters, and counter politics of control
technologies.
This platform welcome, from november 12th to 16th, meetings, talks and
distant connexions streamed online during the European social forum, in
Paris, and will diffuse audio tracks - workshops and seminaries
recordings, talks, audio trips, films exceirpts, sound pieces, archives,
all along those five days.

ITINERARY

On November the 12th, at the MetallosMediaLab, at Ars Longa's, a serie of
programmes on technology watch and about the current logics of control,
with different collectives active on the web and in urban networks,
Bugbrother.com, Las Non Gratas Class, BIT/Kate Rich, EDVF, Yo Mango.

Later that day, in the evening, at EcoBox, a session around Sangatte with
Elise Vallois, Zoe Irvine, Florence Pezon, Samer Najari, a meeting with
autonomous EcoBox architect group, and researchers and artists involved in
the site project, also participating to this discussion, students from
Grenoble's Superior Fine Arts School who will follow a workshop onsite all
along the week.

On November the 13th, at Ensba-National Superior Fine Arts School, an
encounter with Fran Ilich, writer, director, artist and activist,
instigator of the Borderhack actions in Tijuana, a screening of Ursula
Biemann's video essay "Performing the border" shot in Ciudad Juarez.
The transervsal collective of the Sans-papiers from Paris' 10th
arrondissement will be present and will talk about its experience.

On November the 14th, at the European Journals' Archipelago in
Saint-Denis, in parallel of the seminar, a serie of interviews with the
journals' researchers.

In the evening of November the 14th, at the Menagerie de Verre, a
discussion with the Pink Panthers, an LGBT collective engaged in a
repoliticized and updated response to the new moral order, a meeting with
the networked research groups College Invisible, and the Space Hijackers,
and a discussion with the universal Embassy, former Somalia Embassy in
Brussels).

On November the 15th, at the MetallosMediaLab, a serie of discussions with
different collectives and artists involved in the developement of
local-migrants networks, and an economic, political, social or cultural
approach to border zones : Bordercartographs, Patrick Bernier et Carlos
Ouedraogo, Isabelle Massu, member of La Compagnie in Marseille, Oda
Projesi Istanbul, Frontera Sur RRVT, Coco Fusco.
A general round-table in the evening will re-open these threads, with
Isabelle Saint-Saëns, Tavolo Migranti, Fran Ilich, the Universal Embassy,
the collective of the Sans-papiers from Paris' 10th arrondissement,
Jean-Pierre Alaux, and other sans papiers collectives in Paris and in
Europe.
