Electro-Harmonix Effectology, Vol.9 Terrifying Effect Pedals
In this episode I demonstrate how to frighten your family, friends and neighbors using just a guitar and Electro Hamonix effect pedals!
If you do not have these pedals try using ones you have that are similar.

Nice one Bill, I remember how good your VG99 Halloween number from last year was as well, you must have some dark side in you! |

Wow! The twilight zone jingle at the start is incredibly accurate - did you do that on the guitar too? The rest of the video is very inspiring, and it always warms the heart to hear a little tube bells.

Thanks Antimon.
Yes the Twilight Zone is the guitar into a Stereo Memory Man delay in the loop mode.
I studied the original written music score and saw it was done with two guitars.
So I overdubbed a second pass in the loop mode.
I tried all down strokes for picking but it just sounded wrong.
Then I thought what did the old school guys do in the studio and I found it!
If alternate picked each note it was the sound!!!
You can do it with one guitar but to get closer I did like the real thing and it turned out to be a learning experience for me as well!

Great sounds, great music! Oh, and I love the fact that you're using such a "controversial" guitar as that JEM! Good guitarists, one of which you definitely are, shouldn't be playing that, as only widdly-widdly players, or shredders to use another derogatory term use that type of guitar. Fair play to you for using a guitar that suits YOU, rather than pandering to the guitar snobs who tell you you can only use a pre-CBS Stratocaster or whatever. Sorry to go off on a tangential rant, when I said I enjoyed your track - AND vid - I meant it. Bloody good show once again. I have to agree, Ibanez make some of the best guitars around. |

Impressive as usual! We'we come to expect no less...
This had me looking for last years Halloween piece that was on Soundclick, but I can't find it. Is it still online somewhere?

Thanks guys!
Oskar well I own many many guitars and can afford anything as its what I use to make a living.
So, I play what is the best sounding and playing guitar I can find.
These Ibanez guitars are over 20 years old and are just a delight to play as well and being versatile to the max.
Th sound is very wide and the neck of that year fits my hand great.
Not to mention I have access to two octaves of frets.
Many people who can not really play have some notion a certain model guitar is what makes the sound.
Its so obvious they have no clue to what the truth is.
If people complain about the guitar I know they have no ears and I have no need for them.
Playing for them would is like playing to brick wall.
Thanks again,

DrJustice Thanks.
I am afraid that track is long gone.
