What is the range of the yusynth VCO frequency pot?
Would it go low enough to act like an LFO? And high enough for dogs to go mad??  |

If you use the good components and trim up the circuit as described on the VCO page of the yusynth.net site, the lowest value for the frequency pot is 16 Hz and the maximum value is 36 kHz.
It can be trimmed to lower values : around 2 Hz for the lower limit but 4.5 kHz for the upper limit .

I have another couple of questions about the VCO,
R23, why might it have to be replaced by an 82K resistor?
Does the Tempco have to be soldered directly to the SM2210? can it be soldered to the empty holes next to it? or does this mess with the temp sensing?
Im just a bit worried about frying my lovely SM!

This may be needed to have the right sawtooth output level , it is important to obtain a good sinewave. The difference between 82K and 100K is to modulate the gain of U6a in order to compensate for the difference in current characteristics of the various brand of dual transistor ICs (LM394,2SC1583 or SSM2210 or even hand matched BC547). I would suggest that you use 100K first and if you cannot get a good sinewave (too triaangular for example) then replace it by a 82K.

No it does not need to be soldered directly and the two empty holes next to the SSM2210 were there in purpose to allow using these instead.
