Request: Roland MPU-101 manual |
 |
|
Ive been trying to track down the manual for the roland MPU-101 Midi/CV converter for a few days now.
It used to be available somewhere online, but i'll be damned if I can find where it went.
Anyways, i just need to look up a few functions on it. Most specificly how to set the trigger mode from single to multi, and get some definition for what Assign mode I, II, and III are for.
Also I used to know how to boot this thing up in S-trig mode instead of V-trig.
I dont actualy OWN anything that speaks V-trig, but i got lots of S-trig stuff.
I've been using my korg MS-02 as an inverter, but i want to free that up for other functions. |

Look on Roland's site. They were letting people download PDF copies of old gear manuals. I got a Jupiter 8 service manual there a few years ago.
If that doens't work, Google for Mark Glinksy Manual Manor.
He's get every manual in existence (and some that don't exist) You'll have to pay for copy costs though, but it's not much. |

thanks, i found that site already, i just never got around to mentioning that fact here.
Interesting find in that manual as to what the midi out function is actually for.
The MPU-101 is capable of 4 note poly, by chaining the midi out to a second MPU-101 it can become 8 note poly by assigning the overflow notes to the second unit connected via midi out.
Cool stuff |
