Here's some more tunes. This is sort of a continuation of a thread i started on the Streaming Radio Station section of the board. See that thread for some short (< one minute) pieces. Thanks much for listening. Please feel free to comment even if you think this stuff is indulgent and annoying. Sometimes I do.

This is a 40-minute piece called 'Horizon.' Among the sound sources was a neon-tube instrument called the Octillator, mexican jumping beans, and a variety of computer-generated sounds. I worked very hard on this piece for some time and I'm pretty proud of it. Enjoy.

Here's a brand new, as in earlier today, piece. I like it. I used, among other things, ZebraCM, a free version of Urs Heckmann's Zebra 2, Speak and Spell sounds, and various public domain audio samples. Please comment! I'm eager to hear (see?) what people have to say about this one.

Passage: 8 minutes of strange stuff you found underneath your couch cushions.

More songs, some old, some new. Enjoy!

'Knock Knock' -- I sequenced the beats in FL Studio, then moved those to Cubase where I added some additional sounds and samples. I made this pretty recently. Some of the samples were from a CB scanner and others were taken from Jimi Hendrix's 'Machine Gun.'

'Radio Ray' -- This is an older piece. I tried to use sounds evocative of radio static/noise to create an atmosphere of malfunction and calm disarray. Kinda slow at parts but develops more variety as the song progresses.

'Oh God, You Devil' -- Uses samples of a whining baby, piano, and a Minimoog emulator. Despair.

'Networker' -- A longer rhythmic piece 'performed' in Plogue Bidule in real time with very little added afterward. Gets pretty noisy; not for the faint of heart.

i enjoy your concrete naked lunch electronics, on the ''my favorite'' part fell ''passage'' , which had this old school harmonic touch to it at parts.

two short pieces from the last set of works were more than anything quite humorous.

'radio ray' was pretty pure. like megan fox with einstein brains.

'networker' was not so pretty pure, more like kardashian sisters having an orgy.

On this track I again used Blip to generate loops. Note the Easy Rider sample. The other samples were taken from an episode of Coast to Coast AM.

Hey Marck,

Your latest (for me at least) has more of the body in it than the mind -- very jangle-inducing urban primal (nice square waves). I find myself imagining you trading the Easy Rider snips for Clockwork Orange snips -- ah the possibilities... Keep up the gud werk. CIII

This song is inspired and about Japanese truck drivers who totally deck their trucks out with lights, extra bumpers, incredible rearview mirrors, etc.

Check this shit out:

Amazing. Anyway I thought those trucks were great so I made a song about them and their drivers. I composed it in Cubase with synths and a few public domain truck sounds. I imported the beat towards the end from FL studio. Thanks for listening. Enjoy. As always comments are encouraged, even if critical.
