Help, please ... I try to make downloads to a Nord Electro 2 Keyboard - I have downloaded the usb driver from the Clavia Nord page - but when I try to install it I get the message that it can't find the driver.
It can't neither find it from the Nord CD installed. I use Windows 7.
I've checked the usb connections. What more can I do?

welcome glamrock

What are you trying to download?
Do you have the downloading tool installed?

Thank you for welcoming me and for your kind reply.

I want to download upgrades from 3,0 to 3,4 (the last upgrades available for Electro 2). I also want to install Steinway piano (instead of having the Clavinet).
I have the tool software, but first I must install the usb driver (well, I'm almost sure of that, but...), I've downloaded the usb driver - I also have it on the CD - but my PC says it can't find it. I wonder why.
I guess it wont be easy for anyone out there to help me sort out what the problem might be, but I wanted to give it a try. I must probably send an E-mail to Clavia Nord and ask them.
O.k. then - Have a nice day (and night Surprised)

Isn't it just unpacking the zip into the system file of windows?
(I'm not a computer nerd...)

I've packed up the zip file, but still it can't find it. I will contact Nord Electro. Maybe it has something to do with 64 bits and Windows 7 - I don't know. Always some trouble ....

Was Nord able to solve your problem? My son is having a similar problem. Thanks.

Sorry, I've answered a while ago, but I see my answer is not here - so something wrong must have happened while posting.

Yes, the Nord could to give me an answer to the problem. The Clavia Nord 2's tool will not work with Windows 7, but with Windows XP and Vista it should work fine they said.
I was to download Steinway Piano, but then my sons Vista Laptop broke down, so I have not been able to do that yet because I have only Windows 7. Good luck.
Cheers...
