I'm sure there are other solutions, especially for those who can't afford the $100 for the stompbox, but a stompbox pedal interface is probably most convenient for guitar players and other instrumentalists who want to process their instrument through Voice Band, Jasuto, the Moog thing, RjDj, or other effects app for iPhone OS.

Nice find. I wonder if we'll see it outside the USA anytime soon.

I still don't get this one. It's a stomp box? Where's the foot switch?

...which was very cheap and easy to build for a complete beginner like me! If I were to make a box that looks like it can happily live on the floor I would probably make a bypass footswitch for it.

I realized I misspoke about 5 min. after I posted. If I were to incorporate this box into my rig, I'd use a signal splitter such as my Voodoo Labs Amp Selector. It has 4 parallel outputs, each with its own foot switch.

I ordered it with a Roland Mobile cube and that was out of stock, so I'm waiting for that to become available, hopefully this week Smile

I thought about getting that one, before I heard about the NSP. For the extra cost of the NSP over the iRig plug, you get an input level knob, true bypass switch, Neutrik input and output.

The NSP is also half the price of Sonoma Wire Works' Guitar Jack, which doesn't have an input level knob nor a true bypass switch: http://www.sonomawireworks.com/guitarjack/
