This is a basic REC/Overdub looper. It lets you capture and loop your audio in realtime.

Basically it tracks the time between to events (send by the REC/OvD switch) and set the delay time according to this.
Then each time you press the REC/Ovd switch, the patch perform an overdub and keep the delay time constant.
Press reset to clear the loop. You have to wait one max delay time cycle (2,7 sec in this demo) before starting a new loop (this waiting process is automatic here and while resetting, a self-protection is engaged).
If the max delay time is reach during the recording process, the loop time will be equal to the max delay time.
Due to this patch design, the timing isn't really exact and you may have a few latency error (see below), but it still very usable.

In fact, the basic idea is to divide the max delay time into 256 values. A fast clock send out 256 clock each "max delay time" ( delay range). The Rec button sample and hold the clock value and send it to the delay time mod input. (example: @ 2sec delay time, press Rec twice with 1 sec interval give 64 ).

You have to setup the patch if you change the max delay time range, as indicates in the patch.

Latency error:

@ 2,7 sec delay: 10,5 ms
@ 2 sec delay: 7,8 ms
@ 1 sec delay:3,9 ms
