Hi folks,

I recently bought a Nord Wave. It's true love.

However, can anybody advise what kind of amp I ought to be going for? It doesn't need to be top of the range, as live I'll generally be going through PAs, so I'm looking to be fairly economical, but I would hate for it to negate the phenomenal sound quality of the NW by distorting etc.

Would a Roland KC300 be any good?

Cheers,

Chris

You know, I was going to answer you quickly and then realised that this is a more tricky question than I first thought...

Are you planning on using it live as a monitor amp? You might want some power then, depending on the size of the PA and so on.

If not, you could consider getting a Hi-fi or better still, some studio monitors.

In any case, you should take a trip down to your local music shop (if it still exists) and have a listen to a few different options...

hello,

I'm using two LEM D400 for my Wave and Stage because I like to enjoy and therefor to hear the sound I produce, in all it's frequency's that it produces.
I think it's necessary when you want to tweak sounds live.
I use a three volume pedals one for the volume of the Stage, one for the organ swell of the Stage and one for volume of the Wave.
