Nord Wave Noob in need of help

Hello everyone! This is my first post and also my very first synth. I come from a background of acoustic instruments mainly, djembe, cajon, didgeridoo, flutes etc. I have been craving the synth sound for years, so I finally took the dive and got a Wave. I chose the Wave because I can load my huge library of audio samples into it, but I have already run into a problem that is holding me back from using in that way.

I have run into what I am guessing is a simple problem for a trained user. I have a ton of audio samples that I have gathered from various movies and once loaded into the Nord wave, they will all fade out very quickly even if I set "fade out" to zero within the sample manager before downloading it.

An example would be a sample that says, "Two Beings Standing There". Once I get it through the sample manager and into the Nord, it will play through the word "Beings" and fade out before it finishes the phrase.

Is there something I am missing? I am new to the terminology on a synth, so perhaps a simple knob turn and it will right itself, but I couldn't seem to find a solution.

I apologize for my extreme noobness here, but searching online, and referencing the manual hasn't helped.
