Unlike Jasuto Pro/Jasuto, Reactable Mobile, or even Plogue Bidule, this app appears to be designed for algorithmic composition. Not that the others couldn't be used for such a thing, but I think Dingsaller is closer to the likes of Symbolic Composer, M, etc. than virtual modulars.

The UI looks friendly. I could see myself playing with Dingsaller for hours

I'm seriously considering one, especially if I'm travelling this summer. My Macbook Pro does add a lot of weight to my backpack.

Well, it's a good enough excuse for me anyway. We'll see how the iPad2 turns out. If it's not that good a product, I'll look for discounted iPad generation 1 units.

The new iPad2 is what I expected - faster CPU, dual cameras (I don't care about the cameras but there they are). I'm getting one... instead of the Ekdahl Moisturizer that I'd toyed with getting after selling some unused pedals. The Moisturizer is an amazing spring reverb/analog synth filter unit, but I have a more immediate desire to run those iPad-only apps.

But then I also bought a white iPhone. The amount of stick I got from people about that choice. But they soon shut up when I start blurting on about Dieter Rams and his design for Braun in the 1960's.

If Apple would do custom colors, I'm partial to either Surf Green or Mary Kay Blue. My electric violin is Surf Green. Love those two colors.
