hey!

I spent the last 3 days working on a stripboard-synthacon VCF. I took the orignal design from CGS homepage though.
There is a pretty loud sound coming out, but somehow the Cutoff pot doestn work. The resonance pot doesnt change the sound a lot. The pot that should control the TL071 amp stage does boost the low frequencies instead of the whole loudness.

Anyways...
Before I try to fix this circuit again I need to know one thing: Is it actually possible to power the circuit by two 9 volt batteries without changing some values of the resistors and other components?

not exactly the same but Houshu made a 9V version of the Steiner
schematic here

be warned - his stuff ususally needs some taming tho
