G2 Engine in 19" rack how much open space?

Looking at the ventilation-openings on my G2 Engine, makes me wonder how much open space should there be left around it when I put it in a 19" rack. My Akai Z4 sampler requires 10 cm open space around it. I can't find any information about this in the G2 manual. Perhaps someone here can tell me?

I've got two racks stacked onto each other with a few centimeters of space under the botttom one to allow for ventilation. They are always on and this has been running for months and months, they do get warm but not too warm IMO.

Occasionaly I have to reboot, but with each new OS rebooting seems to be needed less frequently (once every several weeks now depending a bit on how they are used) - so I think it's not hardware stability that is causing the "problem".
