ARP Soloist Info Needed |
 |
|
Hi All,
I recently picked up (CHEAP! ) all the submodules from an old ARP Soloist. This the original ARP Soloist, not the Pro Soloist or DGX.
I have as yet been unable to find any info on the pinouts and connections for the submodules, excepting the 4027 VCO (LOTS of info on that one out there!). If anyone has the pinouts/connections, or even a full service manual for the ARP Soloist, I REALLY need the info. The submodules are all "fixed" filters:
4030 - Violin
4031 - Cello
4032 - English Horn, Oboe, Banjo (yes, Banjo )
4033 - Bassoon, Electric Bass, Electric Piano
I intend to build these into a modular filterbank for a friend, assuming they are functional. At the moment I don't have enough info to test them. Stupid me assumed that I'd be able to find the info just as easily as any other ARP synth, but I was quite mistaken .
And yes, these are the older potted type, with 1972 date markings, which means they are solid epoxy all the way through, not a thin layer of epoxy over silicone, so there's no way to just open them up and look.
Any info at all would be greatly appreciated! |

THANKS! I owe you big time!
Now all I need to do is figure out how/what to wire to the "enable" pins. I'm going to assume +5V will activate it, via some type of analog switch? _________________ Don Taylor
