Question about Access Virus A

So my problem is this - I got a used Virus A. The main volume knob only affects output 1, but not outs 2 and 3. Is this intentional? Also, is there a way to independently control outs 2 and 3 with the two definable knobs? See, my problem is that I did try to assign each knob to different parts (in multi mode, via the midi volume parameters) but I can't find a way to distinguish the volume control between the individual parts, nor do I see a way to control the other outputs directly. I did take a look at the manual but I'm having trouble wrapping my head around it (ADD case here) Any help and advice is highly appreciated.
